Details

Featured in the Disc Golf Movie "Snap", this disc is named after the legendary Glen Whitlock of Canada and made of premium super durable plastic. The Whittler describes his style of putting and the disc was designed specifically for it, so its best use is when putted as a "Whittler".

Not that that`s its only use. It`s also great for long runs and for playing catch. As a matter of fact, it is probably the golf disc that is closest to a catch disc.

But thrown as a Whittler, is what it is best for. And a Whittler is thrown from the hip like a horseshoe. And MAN! does it work. It`s straight as an arrow. So, definately, if you are good at horseshoes, you`ll want to try a Whittler. It does exactly what it`s designed to do. Very easy to control.

Weight Range: 162-166 Grams.

Thi is one of the most pleasant catch/throw/DG hybrids out there--outshines even the nicest Frisbees. Imagine a smaller, domier and taller side wall Ultimate throw/catch disc. It is predictable, holds lines, fades, etc very predictably. Hucks pretty far in low/no wind. Generally settles and stops. Its very sensitive and vulnerable to wind. My big beef is that it is just the wrong diameter and swallows other discs, and then the other disc gets stuck inside the rim of the Whitler. P I T A. Solution is to carry the Whitler opposite direction orientation of other discs, but that takes up room in the bag. SO, Whitler has become my in-car-always-have-a-disc disc...., and I have shifted my Catch/Throw/DG hybrid to carrying two Bizzard Condors, 171 and 194. These are Large diameter, which also gobble discs, but hold a Spider or Mercy inside perfectly. That way, I can have a twofer-- four discs-- two condors, and two spiders, in what only takes up the space of two discs. You will smile every time you throw the Whitler-- true roots of the disc sports, at its finest. (Posted on 1/15/14)

Have only thrown it a few times so far but the glide is crazy, you have to have your height rite on your release because it floats, well and far compared to any putter I have thrown so far. (Posted on 1/15/14)
