More about the Tournament Boatman from Westside Disc

The Westside Boatman is one of our fastest drivers that was designed to fit all sizes of hands. It will give you that fast flight and is very predictable. It has a very long glide with very little fade. For faster arm speeds it will hold the line and has a very overstable finish. For slower arm speeds you will be able to count on an overstable finish but will give you that extra glide you are looking for without having to grip such a big rim.

An advanced version of VIP-plastic that contains technical polymers. You cannot see through Tournament plastic. The durability of Tournament plastic is at the same level than VIP Plastic, but the Tournament's grip is slightly better. Our Tournament plastic is closely similar to Latitude Gold plastic.

A Strange Rim Review by Nicholas
Product Rating
The bottom side of this rim is extremely concave, with a rather sharp edge. As a result, it feels strang ein my hand, almos tlike I'm trying to fold the rim in on itsle.f that causes me to release early, resulting in an untrustworthy drive.
I will eventually give this another try sometime down the line, but for now, I have other discs that appear to do the same things and feel more comfortable. (Posted on 3/14/14)
Glenn Jensen Review by Glenn Jensen
Product Rating
This disc is a bit wider than most other drivers. It reminds me of the Jaguar. There is little dome thus it needs help to gain altitude. The disc is stable but needs some practice to learn its dynamics. It is not a beginners disc. The opaque plastic is worth the extra price. (Posted on 6/30/12)
