Details

This is the same mold as Innova`s best-selling DX Aviar Putter, but in Premium Star Line Plastic.
This disc will last indefinately if only used for putting and a very long time otherwise, maintaining it`s stability throughout most of its life span, giving you an incredible amount of time to learn and love this disc.
Perfect stability for holding into the wind, but not overstable.
For this we give it our Editor`s Pick for putters, meaning we believe it to be among the best we offer - by the way, no one here even has it in their bag.

Straight, straight and more straight. Review by Taylor

Out of the box this disc will have some initial stability but once beat it a bit it just loves to go straight. Very predictable upshot disc and a great stable driver off the tee. If you like to drive with putters, this is the one. (Posted on 1/15/14)

Not a big fan of the Aviar in Star plastic. Really tried to like it, but the plastic seemed like it took away from all that is good about the aviar. Less glide, less grip and less distance. (Posted on 9/27/12)

I love this disc so much. It's great in all plastics but I use the star one the most. It's easy to learn also. (Posted on 1/19/12)

This is another of the discs that I own in all standard plastics. I don't use it a whole lot, but it IS a great putter. If it wasn't it wouldn't be a widely used or universally known. I used to throw only these when I started until I tried a Gateway Wizard. However, I do still carry a lighter one in Star Plastic in my bag that I use in certain situations if it's not too windy. If you're new to the sport and don't want to spend the money on a Star one, you can't go wrong with a DX, as they're awesome too. They just don't hold up quite as well, but if you're only putting with it, it'll last until you decide to upgrade or try another putter. As the weather cools off more, I'll swap the Star one out for an older light DX that I have, as I find it maintains it's rigidity better than the R-Pro, but is grippier than the Star.
