Another crazy idea from Quest gets a thumbs-up. This quirky gear shaped disc is designed for the turbo putt, a putt that is thrown overhand, like a baseball. Some people choose to putt like this all the time, but this shot is mainly designed to give you a putt at the basket when you are trapped behind something and have to go over it. The crazy thing is...it works! For people who`ve never had a good turbo putt or never felt comfortable doing one, this disc works wonders. It has a spiral ledge on the bottom to accommodate virtually any size hand and any variation of grip. Once you find a comfortable grip, which tends to be different for everyone, you can fire away on a straight line like a dart. Has a short range but is very sticky so it likes to stay in the chains. Some samples we tested were so soft they didn`t have the rigidity of a pancake. Softer than a Floppy Flyer, virtually eliminating the risk of a roll away. We might also mention that we`ve found another great use for the Turbo-putt. If you turn this disc on its side and roll it on your buddies back it makes a truly amazing, finger-like massage device.
