These are the very first run of Valkyries. They were produced right before the now-famous 1st Run C.E. Valkyries that now sell for about $300 each.

The story behind these is that Dave Dunipace, after producing this run, decided that these were too stable for the general throwing population that he was trying to reach. So he shelved them and went about producing the 1st Run C.E. Valkyrie that became one of the best-selling distance drivers of all time. They are indeed a tad more stable than the most stable Valkyrie produced with the exception of the 2nd Run C.E. Valkyrie, a fluke that was more stable than a TeeBird or Eagle. The perfect use of these is as a substitute for a real C.E. Valkryie when there is a risk that you might lose it in the water or thick woods. After all, nobody wants to lose a disc worth $100 or more. Just remember to use one that weighs about 5 grams less than you would normally use to make up for the added stability of this run.

This is also very sweet and durable DX plastic that will give you 3 times the lifespan of a regular DX disc. As they break in, they start to fly more and more like a regular Valkyrie.
