Details

The Cyclone was Discraft`s best-selling driver of the 90`s and continue`s to deliver some of the most controlled straight to slight hyzer drives for the most demanding players. Best know for it`s ability to keep the drive within range of the fairway, it just doesn`t have a very large error ratio.

Many colors available. 164-176 grams.

Great disc for throwers of all levels. Stable with a bit of fade when new, then becomes a slower turnover driver with good glide. Very controllable. (Posted on 10/1/12)

This driver is one of the oldest in Discraft's line of discs and still continues to deliver very excellent drives. I picked up one of these recently and wondered what took me so long to get one. Now you couldn't part me from mine. This driver is a good compliment to the Comet due to the straightness and consistent performance it gives out on the fairway. It immediately became one of the main drivers I use. I haven't discarded my Leopard for it, but this is the one I will reach for before the Leopard due to the straight drives it gives. Do you want a straight driver that you can rely on time after time? Try this one out. You might be surprised! (Posted on 11/29/11)

This disc is great i love it. It goes far and stays straight. Sometimes i even use it for putting. (Posted on 3/8/11)

A look at the price lets you know the overall quality of this disc. The plastic will get sharp edges if you hit a few trees and the disc itself doesn't fly very consistently. Buy it used for cheap and throw it on water holes...that's the only value I see in this disc. (Posted on 1/20/11)

I'd stay away from the Pro-D unless you have too... With this disc in Z plastic and now in ESP, its not worth keeping in your bag. Sadly, the plastic seems to almost self-destruct quickly.. Who wants that to happen? It's an okay roller when you do get it beat but like I said before, it just doesn't last (Posted on 10/19/09)

One of my first discs was a Cyclone, and I have since just beat it to death. I have moved on to trying some other discs (mostly Innova), but since my game is improving I have been trying out a number of drivers. I purchased a Pro-D Cyclone as an homage to my old dead Cyclone, and I have had a fair amount of success with it in the short amount of time I have been throwing it. I would call myself an intermediate player who needs to work on his drives. I also ordered a Soft Magnet and a Hawk, and have also enjoyed them. Clearwater Disc Golf Store is great, and their service is second-to-none! (Posted on 3/20/08)
