The Challenger is an amazing overstable putter, and very popular with advanced players. It can get around trouble for those long hyzer putts and is overstable enough to take a good amount of snap on approaches.

Pro-D is A stiff, flat version of the Challenger that works great into the wind.
The big bead slows it down and makes it more stable.

Very good disc. Review by David
Product Rating
This disc is a great slightly overstable to straight putter. i actually got mine as my first driving putter. It feels good and flies better! The reason for four stars is that it shows every little ding. It doesn't affect the flight a whole lot, but it makes the disc look kind of cheap with all of the scratches and things. A very good disc for the most part. (Posted on 4/30/14)

The D Challenger is a slightly overstable putter in firm plastic that competes with the likes of the Wizard, KC Aviar, and Vibram VP. Many folks refer to it as a clone of the big bead aviar. In terms of flight, this is plausible. In terms of physical shape, this is wrong. The wing of the challenger more closely mimics that of the small bead aviar, I believe which is only in production as Millenium's Omega now. The wing is actually a hair thicker than any aviar though, giving the rim a stouter feel that fills the hand out better. The shoulder, where the flight plate transitions to the wing, is shallower than an Aviar - whereas with an aviar, the combination of the depth of the shoulder under the flight plate and the lack of meat to the wing attribute to a hollow, cavernous feel that my fingers get lost under, the challenger's thicker rim and less curved shoulder give it the feel of a shallower disc. The result is that the challenger gives a much cleaner release on drives and putts than does ANY aviar. The flight is also preferable. It has resistance to high speed turn and flutter on par with that of a Wizard - far superiour to that displayed by an Aviar - and thanks to the smaller bead, less low speed fade than either a Wizard or Big bead aviar. Brand new, a challenger flies like a nicely seasoned Wizard or KC Aviar. Considering the price, it is hard to justify competing, comparable models of putter from other manufacturers. Just get the Challenger. (Posted on 1/15/14)
Great throwing putter Review by Christopher

I love throwing the pro d Challenger. Some of them have a significant amount of stability at both high and low speeds making them a reliable approach disc even with a bit of wind. Depending on the blend of pro d they can even bit a little bit on the chalky/grippy side which makes for a good putting disc. If you want a challenger that will start stable and work into a turner later in life this is the one for you. (Posted on 1/15/14)

great stiff, stable putter. Feel is similar to BB aviar and Wizard. Great driving putter when fresh, as it does taco easily if you whack a couple of trees hard. (Posted on 9/27/12)

This is my favorite putter to use. Great stability and can really hold a line when used as an approach disc. Get just the right amount of flick on the wrist and it will go straight to the basic and land with very little skip. I also like to use this disc for push putting. I read reviews where people like it for putting in the wind but I seem to have trouble with doing that. If you're just beginning, I recommend something a little less stable like a Magnet but if you have a little experience, go with a Challenger. (Posted on 4/15/12)

Used it as a drving putter out to about 225 feet. Initially not used for putting because it was too overstable for my lob-style of putting. After changing my putting to more wrist/spin-style the Challenger works great. It just seems to have a very reliable flight for aggressive putting. (Posted on 9/12/11)

My wind putter! This thing is very overstable for a putter, and is very stiff! works great in the wind and short hyzer approaches. If all of your putters are being blown away by the wind, give this disc a try. Also makes a good driver for short holes with a slight hyzer. (Posted on 3/21/11)

I like this disc for warming up my arm. I use it for throwing back and forth with someone. Holds a good line and then breaks at the end. (Posted on 10/20/10)
