Very straight flying putt and approach disc. Comes in great marbleized colors and also floats in water. Perfect for courses with water on the approach shots. This plastic is soft and grippy to absorb the chain action. The lightning putter is great for beginners and finesse players. It is a steep-walled, slow-moving putter. It is also one of the heavier putters on the market. 173-180 grams.

Floats in Water!

I love using this putter. It has a super stiff and rather thick top plate, which did take a little getting used to, but not too much. Another thing that is kind of cool about this disk is that on the inside of the rim, there are nice raised grooves to help improve grip. My only complaint about this disk is that the plastic is not all that durable. I have only hit baskets and the ground surrounding the basket, and I'm already getting some pretty good dings in the side of it. (Posted on 3/28/12)

This disc is chunky, and I love it. The fact that it comes in such heavy weights is what sold me to begin with. Once I recieved the disc, I found it did exactly as advertised. It floats (and with my home course right on the lake, this was a biggie), and it goes super-straight. One of the added perks I found was that along the inner-rim of the disc are a series of small ridges that aid my grip. All of this at a super-cheap price, I wonder why more people don't have this disc in their bag...
