(LHBH) I picked this up from the Clearwater store primarily because I learned with Lightning Discs and felt comfortable with the brand. I now use this one for at least half the drives on any course. It has a great glide to it, which you can see as it rises and dips in the wind currents. It leaves the hand easily, flies far and straight for most of it's flight. It has a very soft fade that set in early, maybe around 4/5ths of the way into the flight. The glide of the disc makes the fade go out a relatively long distance, keeping the disc mostly flat as it's fading, not dropping sharply as other discs do. When driving with this, make sure to aim off of your target more than you would expect to because of it's longer reaching fade.I get average distances with this, and it's path is pretty reliable. It mutes a lot of the hyzer and anhyzer you might give it, kind fo finding it's own level, so it's pretty forgiving for an inconsistent release. It also manages to keep it's own height pretty well. I more often hit the ground too soon rather than releasing too high, so it works really well on fairways with tree cover.the only real downside is the craptastic plastic, so I try not to use it on highly wooded holes. I bought this disc to combat water hazards at a couple of the local courses, and it has definitely kept me from losing a disc in the drink. As a plus, I really like throwing it, even though it feels a little clunky at first... but that clunkiness is deceiving. Save your faves for droughts and try this straight-flying water dog... it is worth having in your bag! (Posted on 5/14/12)
