My preference for the Blizzard Katana is right around 150 and I have near medium armspeed - maybe a little faster than average.

What weight would you recommend for the blizzard katana for a medium armspeed playerbr

The Recycle Line look like Gold Line but the feel is hard to pin down. They are beefy feeling overall but plastic has a good amount of give to it so your thumb can sink in nicely. Definitely not as stiff as stiff DX or Zero Line Hard.

Yeah they look nice and grippy too. Is the Zero Line Pure Gold you have in stock soft or hard

Joe G 5740
The Zero-Line Soft Pure is probably the closest to those old flippy XDs.

Then there is the latest from Discmania - made by Innova - the P3 Putt and Approach. Pretty much is an XD with a lower dome than the XD plus but not quite flat and a slightly more blunt leading edge. They feel like a sweet XD in the hand. Made out of real nice DX plastic too for the 1st Runs anyway.

Well there are a few nice alternatives. 1st there is the Lat64 Pure - its a great XD and even comes in high-end plastic like Opto and the new Recycled Gold Line - Great Disc. There is also the Judge - like a Pure or XD with a bead so a bit more stable but same great feel.

Can you think of anything similar to the DX XD Flat flexible low profile grip...

I love a beat XD. I love em new and half beat too for that matter. The more beat in the greater the turnover shot I use it for. Those things are MONEY...

Thanks Joe. The flat gummy XDs were such a great disc once worn in. Unfortunately the one I own is a bit too worn.

Actually we have a shortage of DX XDs around here right now Dave. Hopefully we will get some more as soon as Innova makes them again. Right now they are in short supply.

Do you keep anymore DX XDs in stock or just the XD Plus

As a loyal TeeBird thrower, the best way I can sum up the Striker is this: If the Stalker is a Buzzz on steroids, the Striker is a TeeBird on steroids...
The Striker has become my favorite distance driver pushing my TeeBirds into a strictly fairway slot. Thrown at full power, it turns a little more than a TeeBird but finishes just as predictably. What really makes this disc unique is how incredibly controllable it is at slower speeds. It is versatile enough to hold an anhyzer line - will land flat as it begins to flex - or a tight flex between 200-250'. Even after saying that, I still prefer my TeeBirds in this condition (I've been throwing them in this situation for five years versus occasionally over nine months).
In terms of distance, there's a 500'+ hole on my home course that is a fairly sizable downhill and reachable with a good toss thanks to a left-to-right crosswind. When my friends reach for their Nukes, I reach for the Striker, and I am able to keep pace without any trouble. It is slower so it takes a little longer to get there, but it always gets sighs from the Nukers when I match their throws or land past them...
In moderate winds, this disc is fairly beefy but not as predictable in the stronger conditions. I throw ESP Surges when the headwinds and left-to-rights become severe (its speed makes it act more overstable for me) and CFR TLs in heavy right-to-lefts. It's an absolute gem in all tailwinds.
As for the plastic, I've only thrown the Opto Line but have found this to be my favorite of the Champion/Elite Z style. It's crystal clear (I do wish they made some brighter colors - blue is the only color I buy), grippy, and more durable than anything else on the market currently. Mine has been unintentionally introduced to more trees than I care to mention and still is flying like new, nine months later. It has acquired some rim rash, but nothing extreme. My Champ and pearly KC Pro TeeBird's and Elite Z Drones and Wasps haven't been able to handle the same contact nearly as well.
