Stable and sturdy and great for windy conditions.
Reliable for hyzer upshots and short drives.
Plastic is very stiff but still has a "grippy feel".

Great Disc Review by Christopher
Product Rating
I love these discs for push putting and driving off the tee on shorter holes. I use them for upshots with no fade and occasionally go play a round with only my KC Pro Aviar. They are very consistent and feel great in the hand once you get used to the big bead. (Posted on 7/22/14)

basically a perfect putter. Good to drive with, and great grip for putting. I have it at 167 gr and it is wonderful to get a few extra feet on a smooth line. (Posted on 2/17/13)

This is currently my best, most reliable and consistant putter (Posted on 9/14/12)

Great driving putter. Reliable fade. Firm but tacky. Only gets better with fade. Less distance than an Aviar PnA but cuts the wind much better. (Posted on 9/12/12)
Keith Piskun Review by Keith Piskun

A great beaded putter with good plastic. The disc will resist coming back at you because it slides down and in. Good approach disc. Not the most durable plastic but they're cheap (Posted on 8/16/12)

This putter has the ability to be a great putter with the right player. I personally prefer a softer gummier putter, The KC Pro Aviar is anything but. I just traded mine for a buzzz. (Posted on 7/22/12)

Solid putter with good glide. I use this for most puts that are beyond 100 feet. It is a lottle soft and grippy compared to my other putters which is nice. Easy to use and overall a great putter. (Posted on 2/7/12)

I LOVE the feel of the KC Pro plastic in the hand. IMO there is no better plastic for putting, EXCEPT... these babies ding up like you wouldn't believe! Buy these discs in multiples because the bead can be shredded at any moment! The beat up ones start to behave more like an Aviar P&A (no bead) pretty quick, and will turnover nicely eventually. WOW! What a great all around disc, it works as an amazing putter as well as shots off the tee. When brand new, this disc makes for a great stable upshot/approach. Once one of these gets beat up, it makes for the most amazing turnover disc for short distances up to 200 feet. If you dont have one (or more) of these in your bag, your really missing out! Similar to a gateway wizard in my opinion. Makes a great driving putter, and a good putter in the wind. And knowing you are holding the same disc Ken Climo uses gives you a sense of confidence to make those 50 foot putts! (Posted on 10/6/11)
Gabriel Howe Review by Gabriel Howe

Best putter I have ever thrown. The putter is extremely straight flying with little to no fade. I typically use it for any approach under 150 feet as well. This putter can be used for driving, I can get it out to around 250 on a straight line. I have learned on this putter and will probably never get a different model.Review:straightno fadecan handle force of a driveholds anhyzer or hyzer line foreverI highly recommend this putter (Posted on 9/19/11)

a good putter that sets the standard for all putters. However, I did notice some slip throughs with the 175. Does well in windy conditions. (Posted on 7/27/11)

The kc aviar is the perfect wind putter! Slightly overstable to fight those gusts and go straight into the chains! I never leave home without it! Highly recommended. (Posted on 3/26/11)

I hit 3 aces the first month I used these puppies of the tee-box. The softer version of this plastics breaks in really nicely and becomes much less stable. The firm plastic breaks in slower and keeps it stable flight pattern. I recommend carrying 3-4 of these in various states of beat-in. (Posted on 9/10/10)

Just like the 10x and 11x these discs will be sought out in years to come. I have 6 of these discs that I do daily putting practice with. This is the putter for those who like a stiffer disc that has a great lifespan. There are many KC Aviar fans for good reason..... It's one of the best putters out on the market. (Posted on 8/30/10)

Switched from the DX to Star to the KC and glad I did. I love the bead that the KC has. It really gives you a better feel for it. I swear by aviars and love this disc compared to the other Aviars. It flies straight as can be from 275' in and does a better job at fighting the wind than the others. I haven't brok in my oldest KC yet, so I still use my old DX for those anhyzer shots. Just get a few and take them out to the field. Once you learn the right touch, you'll never put this down. (Posted on 7/27/10)

I used this putter for the first time today. 175g feels much heavier than that in your hand, which I like. The plastic is some of the hardest I have thrown. This gives it a very solid feel in your hand and allows you to manipulate the release exactly the way you want to. However, this may be a fluke, but I hit chains like we all try to do and a quarter inch chunk was ripped out of the rim. This was somewhat of a disappointment but all in all I really like the disc. Can't wait for it to break in. (Posted on 5/26/10)
