The DX Wraith is a great way to get a Wraith at a great price that will break in to give you a longer straighter flying distance driver in a shorter period of time than a premium Wraith.

It starts out stable and, of course, extremely fast, with the stability of a Beast or Orc. But it gives you about 10% more distance with 10% less power, allowing to focus more of your attention on accuracy. The flight starts as a consistent hyzer shot that`s accurate and controllable. As it breaks in some it will start to give some of the longest shots of it`s lifespan and yours. I mean these things go amazingly far. In your hand they feel like a knife that can fly endlessly through he air.

Any disc that is this sharp will be greatly affected by any imperfections in it`s outer rim, especially on the very bottom. So it`s important to keep the DX Wraith smooth and free of surface obtrusions. Trees and concrete do the most damage. Imperfections will slow the spin and the overall speed down and reduce the stability drastically. However, as the Wraith breaks-in, if it`s kept smooth, will yield some of the longest anhyzer and turnover distance drives of any modern disc.

And while the Wraith is ideal for many distance shots, it`s flightpath requires a fairly wide fairway to complete it`s flight. So it`s not the ideal choice for tight, narrow or particularly straight fairways But given room to spread it`s wings, few fly faster and few fly farther than a Wraith.
