Points will be coming soon. I cannot approve them yet because I am switching to a new server and I dont want to loose them during the switch so by the end of this week I would say.

New big course is called Forest Hills and it is North on U.S. 19 just north of the Pasco County line. Head west on Flora Avenue 3 quarters of a mile on the right.

I would say those Wraiths are pretty flat for Champion Wraiths - most are domier and you dont see many flatter than these Kyle. These are early run Wraiths from a few years ago.

Correct - I have played with Dave and Harold quite a few times. Great guys and golfers too.

Played with Dave and partner Harold Duvall in the DG Worlds in 85. Random pairings. My partner and I said _and_quotWe_and_acutere in trouble_and_quot after a couple of holes. Pretty sure Harold won it all and Dave placed highly.

Unknown to most, there at least 3 different molds that have been used to produce the Champion Starfire. Typically, when Innova changes a mold on their high-tech distance drivers, it basically involves using the same top half as the namesake, but changing the bottom half to increase or decrease the stability. When the Starfire was 1st released it was only available as a Candy Fundraiser Disc. That run is a great overstable windfighter that was probably the fastest disc on the market at the time. It works great thrown low and hard and will skip forward several times, increasing it`s distance substantially. The shape of the bottom rim is like an elongated Valkyrie. The CFR`s have been out of production for a while and are getting harder and harder to find. This is a very popular disc and is still used by many top pros for big distance into a stiff headwind.

The disc we offer here is the latest stock production run, which is the most widely available Champion Starfire, and is a little more stable than the originals, probably because the bottom is closer to that of an Orc than a Valkyrie. This causes the hyzer to be prevelant throughout most of the flight. Of course, this makes the Champion Starfire even better for fighting a headwind. In fact, they are stable enough to be called the Starfire X. They handle a wind almost as good as a Firebird or a Banshee, but they`ll fly a lot farther due to the increased speed from the elongated wing. It`s important to remember that the clear runs are the most stable and domey in Champion plastic, while the opaque are flatter and noticeably less stable. Currently, most are the clear plastic, but there`s still some opaque floating around from an earlier run. Please state your preference in the comment box at checkout.

Available in a wide variety of colors. 165-175 grams.

If you`d like a less stable version of the Starfire, try the Champion Starfire "SL". It`s only available as a tournament fundraiser and in very limited numbers, but it`s faster and has more glide than the other runs. It`s best used as a straight power driver as opposed to a hyzer windfighter.
