Details

The Eagle was one of the first high tech discs ever produced, laying the groundwork for discs like the TeeBird and the Valkyrie.
This is the original X version.
It`s now one of the best utility drivers available, combining the control of a fairway driver with the speed of a long range disc.
The X version is more over-stable than the smooth-bottomed L version making it a great wind-fighter and fairway control driver.
Available in a wide range of colors.
150-175 grams.

the eagle is a great power sidearm disc. if u can keep it on a level release it will fly fast and strait but has a big fade at the end and skips too. i prefer the champion plastic vs the dx plastic myself but thats just me. (Posted on 1/15/14)
Solid workable fairway driver with a consistent fade Review by Taylor

Out of the box the Champion Eagle will fly something like a banshee. Lots of HSS and LSS but as it works in, it will develop that tick of turn that makes it so versatile. The more turn the eagle develops the farther it will start to fly but thanks to that eagle fade it will always pull out and start to fade. (Posted on 1/15/14)
Great disc! Review by David

I love this disc. I actually throw it on a lot of mid shots because I tend to under throw. Beautiful disc all around. Definitely worth getting. (Posted on 1/15/14)

fantastic, reliable driver, with a healthy fade. You can really put the power to this and know it will come back at the end. One of my favorite discs (Posted on 12/19/12)

One of the best fairway drivers out there. When thrown right, it has a bit of turn with solid fade at the end. Very versatile and good for line shaping. (Posted on 9/27/12)

I have a 175 and a 166 and they're noticably beaten but they have been really good for control shots that don't fade. When they're new they are stable and will finish hyzering unless you really chuck em hard. (Posted on 8/16/12)

This disc is solid and accurate. I use this in tight fairways when my drive needs to hook to the left. The disc has some glide and will gently hyzer at the end. When my high performance discs are failing, the Eagle has been my safety valve. I use it often on drives under three hundred feet. (Posted on 6/26/12)

I have to say the new teebirds and eagles are so close to the same shape that you can't possibly justify why you would carry one of each in the same weight. That being said it's a good disc to throw all the time for any fairway. (Posted on 4/16/12)

This was for a long time one of my favorite discs. I played this one until it was so beaten up it had zero resistance to turning over. Great, straight-flying disc though that feels amazing in Champion plastic! (Posted on 1/20/11)

The 12x Champion Eagle was my first disc and is still one of my "go-to" discs. When new it falls left ever so slightly, but once nice and worn in it has become my best turnover disc for right turning shots using just a little anhyzer. Dependable through & through (Posted on 7/27/10)
Brian Matthews Review by Brian Matthews

My 166g Eagle is definitely a no-bells-and-whistles driver, and provides solid throws with good hyzer at the end. I'd bet this disc can sail with enough torque behind it, but I wouldn't necessarily sic a beginner on one of these. (Posted on 3/23/08)
