Easily Dscraft`s Bestselling Ultra Long Range Highspeed Driver, the Nuke has revolutionized many good and great player`s games.  It`s not a disc for the timid but for anyone who can get decent armspeed on a disc the Nuke will open up all kinds of new doors.  How about going from 380 to 420 feet in distance for starters.  And the control - oh my goodness!   It comes out of the hand like butter and just glides , and glides...and glides.  And when it finally hits the ground hyzering it still moves forward for some extra "D".  What a Rocket!

She`s a little overstable so if you want it a bit straighter check out the Nuke SS in its various selections of plastic.

More from Discraft -

Longer drives are now as easy as pushing a button: NUKE™ delivers virtually effortless maximum distance for moderate to expert players.

The wide, heavy rim and refined aerodynamic engineering give NUKE unparalleled velocity, while a 1.6 stability rating makes it more useful to a wider range of players.

Seize the power!

Great distance disc Review by Tyler

I own a ESP nuke and i love how this disc flies and it is my longest disc. The only issue with this disc is the plastic. It feels great but it can take some major damage when up against a pine tree. Overall i love this disc and would recommend it to anyone that wants a good distance driver. (Posted on 1/15/14)

The ESP Nuke is undoubtably one of my favorites that I carry. It is consistent and has great distance. It can be thrown successfully backhand, fronthand, tomahawk, rollers, or however you may throw. It is a must have disc in my opinion. Whether you prefer Discraft or Innova, this disc is one for you. (Posted on 10/20/12)

The most consistent Nuke out there. Great glide, moderately stable for a disc of this speed. If thrown fast enough, it will turn just a little bit and then fade out strong. (Posted on 9/28/12)

Was having trouble with the Z Nuke and a friend recommended the ESP version. It feel a little less stable than the Z plastic and I have a much easier time controlling it. Played in 40 mph winds a week or so ago and was able to throw this disc pretty straight. When there isn't much wind, throw it with a little anhyzer and it flies nice and straight ending with a slight hyzer. The Nuke is also great when you need a spike hyzer. Throw it with hyzer and it will dive bomb. I've thrown a couple spike hyzers that literally stuck in the ground standing up. It was great! (Posted on 4/28/12)

This is one of my favorite drivers! It slices through the air with insane speed, and get the extra distance i need. I made my shot 40-60 ft further with this nuke. So get one in your bag today! (Posted on 4/10/12)

Long and fast, no doubt. My problem with it is the awkward feeling grip. That's a whole lot of rim to wrap your paw around. An awkward grip means you might have control problems. If you have smaller hands, try the Flash, which is a couple of notches slower but is close to the Nuke in stability rating. If you have gorilla mitts or long fingers, tho, the Nuke might be your baby. (Posted on 3/29/12)

BAM! giv it a little anhyzer and watch it glide out of sight... first got a one is x plastic and it seemed like the grippiness of the x plastic would cause to much friction and would release way to late, but the esp plastic dosent stick to my fingers giving me the spin and timing where i can crush it 400+ (disc not good for accuracy or windy days) (Posted on 8/26/11)

My friend Andy let me use this disc when it first came out, and I had great expectations: the widest rim permitted in PDGA had me hoping for supreme grip'n'rip. However, this relatively high-speed disc let me down a little. I can easily outdrive the nuke with a Wraith or Avenger, even. If you're into big grips and long distance throws without straining yourself, this is your disc. (Posted on 12/27/10)

This is a great disc. However, it's a little different to get used to. It's so high speed, it turns pretty quickly and when thrown incorrectly (like too much anhyzer) it stays anhyzer and doesn't correct much until the very end. This said, I have gotten my longest drive with the nuke. So, I still use it on those far holes. (Posted on 12/6/10)

Up until purchasing an ESP NUKE, all of my experiences with Discraft equipment had been pleasant. Unfortunately, I do not see myself going back to Discraft for my distance drivers (at least in the near future). After less than ten throws with my new Nuke, I noticed that the ESP plastic began to crack and crumble despite the fact that I had not thrown any shots at trees or pavement. For some reason, the plastic deteriorated on its own. Perhaps I had a flawed Nuke, but I noticed a similar thing happening to another owner as well. Personally, I would recommend any purchaser of Discraft distance discs to choose the Elite-Z plastic over the ESP. I certainly prefer the Z anytime the edge of the disc is very thin. With midranges (Buzzz, Wasp, etc.), I have not had the same problem. Like Discraft... Do not like ESP drivers. (Posted on 9/3/10)

I don't have the strongest arm yet I was still able to get this disc to go long. If you don't have the most amazing arm yet, pick up one of these babies, they fly very fast and will improve your game. Of course when your arm gets good enough the nuke will still be very available for you to get the distance and accuracy that you need. This disc is a lot like a broken-in wraith, so its great for someone looking for a driver disc thats ready to throw right out of the box. (Posted on 8/30/10)

My main dirver is a 174 flx PREDATOR, but I wanted to try a driver with more POP and gave a 172 NUKE a try.....This disc delivers on speed and distance. I`m a right-handed sidearmer who can get my PRED a consistent 300ft......the NUKE 380-400ft with the longest being 450ft. I throw my drivers hard and low for improved accuracy. The NUKE results in great distance with little effort. A simple controlled throw with the nuke goes 300ft, while i have to muscle my PRED to get that long. A FEW NEGATIVES: It might take you a while to get accustomed to the thickness of the rim, and its not great on windy days.....However, if you want booming distance with little effort....get a NUKE and save your arm some wear-n-tear.
