The Drone is Discraft`s most horkin` overstable midrange disc, now in a flexible plastic.
It`s slightly elongated wing gives it good speed and some glide, but it`s stability will virtually will assure that this one`s not going to flip or get away from you.
Great wind fighter and works great for difficult upshots into the wind.
Try this disc for a super flexible overstable Midrange Driver!

the drone is a great sidearm disc that u can snap and it wont flip over on you. i dont really perfer the lip size on it but it can defenitly get some distance with the right amount of snap. its also good for hooking around trees or other objects. (Posted on 1/15/14)

Great super overstable mid. Like some other super overstable discs out there, the drone starts to fade almost the second it leaves your hand. Even through hurricane force winds, the Drone will still perform well. For those who can get it on an anny release, this disc will stretch out for fantastic flex shots. (Posted on 9/27/12)

Here's a midrange that you can snap with a slight anny angle and it will flex back to the target. Not a long glider, but that's to your advantage when you need to gauge your distance precisely. Great for getting around obstacles with a sweeping right to left hook. Works great for shorter upshots, too. It needs space to work it's magic. I'll go to a Buzz for low ceiling shots or for longer distance, but I'm finding overall that I'm using the Drone more than the Buzz. Impossible to flip over and that's saying something for a midrange. (Posted on 7/22/12)

Perfect for approach shots that need a sharp hook in the last 20-30% of their flight. More effective than the Roc or the Cro for these type of shots because you can throw it flat at the gap in the trees (thus maximising your accuracy in hitting the gap) and rely on it to hook back in toward the basket EVERYTIME. A real asset in my bag. Discraft is producing some very high quality mid-range discs. (Posted on 3/28/11)

A great addition to a Buzzz and a Roc. The Drone is a great overstable utility midrange disc. Spikes, flicks, flex shots, windy conditions. The Drone compliments your main midrange discs perfectly. (Posted on 9/22/10)

[Rt-Handed Sidearm] The FLX DRONE is a very consistant wind-fighting approach disc. It will fight any wind, cut around obstacles, and even makes a great putter. I aim LEFT of my target and watch it cut sharply and consistently to the RIGHT. If thrown too low, it will skip hard. It will land nose down and stick within 5ft if thrown chain high. This disc will take several practice rounds to gain confidence in throwing consistently, but once you do it will be a mainstay in your bag. Get this disc and the FLX PREDATOR for a complimentary wind-fighting driver and approach disc set. (Posted on 4/18/10)

A great disc to get. It doesn't fly far, and it takes a little bit of time to learn it. Once you do, this is a mainstay in your bag. When I'm putting in 20+ mph wind, this is the disc I turn to. Great job Discraft! (Posted on 3/23/10)
