An Updated Classic: ESP Cyclone™ Driver Cyclone owned the tee pad in the late 1990's. Today it's a mainstay for thousands of disc golfers who want a dependable, controlled distance driver to get them down the fairway without a lot of fuss. Fans clamored for an ESP Cyclone after the plastic was introduced in 2006, and their wait is finally over.
I bought this disc almost twenty years ago and it was great driver. I updated to a lighter weight and the ESP plastic. What is most impressive is the Cyclone holds it height when throwing a tunnel shot. Too many drivers lift, but the Cyclone does not rise up. This disc is perfect for long and straight shots where branches hang down. (Posted on 6/26/12)
I love this disc. As most people have said, you aren't going to get booming drives from this disc but that's not it's purpose. This is a fairway driver that will keep you in the fairway. It releases cleanly, flies straight, then fades down to the ground. Simple. The rim width is very comfortable and the bead tucks perfectly into your fingers. Super versatile---forehands and backhands. I've even played single disc rounds with it because it seems to putt well too. Buy it and be glad you did. (Posted on 7/14/11)
The ESP cyclone brings back memories of the old cyclone. Nothing will beat the old plastic but if you want to throw a cyclone, go with this plastic! It feels good in your hand and depending on how hard you throw it, you'll get it to flip easy! (Posted on 10/19/09)
