Details

Discraft`s flagship Ultra Long Range Driver has revolutionized the game by bringing a whole new class of players into the 400 footer club.  Moderately overstable with incredible speed and glide that`s surprising.  This disc will handle quite a bit of torque but is not too overstable so it will hold a line and glide exceptionally well once you find that sweet spot.

Durable Elite Z Plastic is stiff with a decent dome and is very clear with a nice sticky grip.

I unfortunately can't get this disc up to speed to really benefit from it as others have so that is why I only rated it around a 3. It must be a great disc when you consider all the fanfare it has received, but it just isn't bombing out there for me. Mine weighs 170 grams and I'll generally toss other discs anywhere between 325-340. My Nuke stays straight and just hyzers out too soon for big distance. I've only been able to get any turn out of it when thrown into a headwind, but still didn't gain any significant distance. (Posted on 6/14/12)

A friend of mine, who is a newer player, bought one of these and had trouble controlling it so I gave it a try. After a few attempts I learned how to control it a bit better. It added about 50 feet to my side arm shot but I still had a little trouble controlling it. Another friend recommended that I try the ESP version. Had more luck with that. THe Z plastic seems more overstable than the ESP. (Posted on 4/26/12)

Slightly less stable than a champion boss in the same weight. Rollers go really far if you have the arm. I had bought a 175 z nuke and the second day I had it the outside edge of the rim split towards the center of the disc about a 1/2 after hitting a rock. (Posted on 4/26/12)

The Elite Z Nuke will change the game of any disc golfer who possess's it. My first Z Nuke was a 173 Blue one and boooy did I charish it. Unfortunatly, when I was playing a course with a pond I happened to roll mine straight into it... May it rest in peace... Anyways! This is the fastest, straightest flying disc on the market. Some people prefer the esp plastic for the nuke, but I like to sink my fingers into the touch, lasting Z Nuke. I feel like it's a tad bit faster than the ESP version, especially after you beat it up a little. If you want 30-50 extra feet added to your drive, pick one of these puppies up today! You will fall in love! Literally. (Posted on 3/28/12)

Much more overstable the the x or esp version, but still a very fast disc. I use mine for LONG sidearm drives. This thing likes to be up in the air, seems like the more air I give it, the further it goes. A word of caution, you must be able to throw HARD to get this thing to do anything other than trail off on an extreme hyzer. If you have the power to throw this baby, it will out drive anything else in your bag. (Posted on 3/21/11)

My max distance driver. I occasionally turn it a little too far over, but the extra distance makes it worth it. (Posted on 3/5/11)

Like a grown up Katana, this disc can go the distance...throw it low and fast and it will skip for another 100 feet. Be careful not to turn it over though, especially in the wind. (Posted on 1/20/11)
