Details

The Flick is Discraft`s flagship super overstable driver that is specificlly designed for the two-finger shot, thus the name.
But don`t let that fool you.
It`s used every way imaginable from backhand windfighters and hyzers to tomahawks and rollers.
It`s extremely flat top and incredibly low-profile make it amazingly fast and nearly impervious to headwind.
It`s obviously a power player`s disc but it also comes in weights as low as 147 grams so it`s been getting a lot of play from lower level players who are using it for distance shots, especially downwind.
It`s super-stability makes up for the lighter weight, providing a perfect balance between stability and speed that will produce remarkable distance.
One of the fastest extremely overstable discs on the market.

Amazing disc for thumbers and mega hyzer bombs Review by Jarrod
Product Rating
I have been using the flick for 5 yrs, and it has been my go to for tough woods shots or straight shots with a narrow window. I used to pitch baseball in high school, might be why I love throwing thumbers. The flick is also good for mega hyzer bombs! (Posted on 8/15/14)
Essential Disc Review by Joe

Great Disc. Absolute disc needed in bag. Especially for those thumbers. Very fast disc, and especially essential when needing a disc to keep low and through tight areas. (Posted on 2/11/14)

Perfect sidearm disc for headwinds or hars fade shots around trees and other objects. (Posted on 1/15/14)

i didnt really care for the flick. i throw sidearm and this disc is way overstable no matter how i turned it or how hard i threw it the disc always hooked very hard right. i didnt really like the size of the lip on it either just was to small/shallow of a rim (Posted on 1/15/14)
Good Luck Disc Review by SJ
Product Rating
It's narrow profile means that it gets really skinny. I've had this disc find impossible tomahawk lines through 200 foot stretches of dense hardwood stands. When thrown backhand into a stiff wind it locks into its route and travels surprisingly far. Flicking over water is less stressful because I know it will come back. And when my aim is a bit off... I've had the flick skip off water and land dry twice now. (Posted on 1/15/14)

This disc is very overstable, good for power forehand throwers. That being said, I'm a predominantly forehand thrower, and I personally do not like the flick. The rim is too shallow for my grip. It always feels like it's slipping out of my hand. Maybe that is why some people like it for thumbers (Posted on 11/23/12)

Discraft's answer to the firebird. Fantastic overstable distance driver. Great for overhands, hyzers and mega flex shots. (Posted on 9/27/12)
Kevin Garner Review by Kevin Garner
Product Rating
Thumber disc extraordinaire! I'm not a super overhand thrower, but I can reach a direct line of 275 feet with my 165 gram Flick. Also works amazingly for forehand shots and gets some awesome skips if played right. This is my go-to overstable backhand disc as well. It starts turning the corner fairly quickly without a whole lot of straight flight in it. Fits great in the because of the flat flight plate and shallow rim. (Posted on 6/14/12)

Very consistant and over stable. My friends would always use them and I was like I would spend money on it because I had thrown theirs and didn't like it. but than one day I found one. It took getting used to for me but I really do like it noww that I have one (Posted on 5/1/12)
Curtis Stroud Review by Curtis Stroud

This disc is a monster for tomahawks and thumbers. It's so thin, it's awesome to throw. I also love using it for spike hyzers. Wasn't expecting it to fly quite as far as it did the other day, now I'm waiting for it to drop out of the top of a tree. :( Great for getting around big obstacles with the basket behind it. Throw it backhand out right and it's sure to pull back far left. (Posted on 4/30/12)

The Flick is very over stable and is my go-to forehand, overhand, and spike hyzer disc. The flight is predictable for all throws and the plastic can take a beating. (Posted on 3/3/12)

very overstable specially on the heavier weights, but if you are a power thrower who wants a more controlled landing then this is the disc you want, angle it right and this disc wont skip a mile like some others do. (Posted on 1/18/12)
Dustin Williams Review by Dustin Williams

This disc is not for everyone due to the extreme stability, but if you have a big arm or like to throw forehand shots this will improve your game. Fights a head wind better than any disc. A must have!!!!! (Posted on 1/9/12)
Joseph Mead Review by Joseph Mead

holy balls this thing is awesome, this thing can handle alot of torque, being a 60% sidearm 30 overhead couldnt find a better disc, i over drove almost every shot with it, great in the wind and oh man this thing has a long smooth barrel roll when throw overhead, cant wait to get another but a couple grams lighter (Posted on 11/29/11)
Douglas Funk Review by Douglas Funk

I can only throw this disc thumber style. I tried tomahawk but it didn't work for me. Tried backhand/forehand and it was a disaster.Thrown as a thumber this disc is NUTS! It cuts through branches and goes 300ft, landing straight into the ground. (Posted on 4/17/11)

decent disc. pretty easy to throw because you dont nee to throw it hard for it to go far. recommend it for beginners. (Posted on 3/23/11)

Good disc. Easy to throw and very reliable. Great accuracy but not the best distance. A good disc for beginners. (Posted on 3/23/11)
jonathan devlin Review by jonathan devlin

Possibly the most overstable disc on the market. This disc cannot be turned over whether you throw backhand or sidearm. I was a pitcher in high school so most discs I easily overpower when throwing sidearm. Not this one, however. I can throw as hard as i can and trust it not to turn over. Also makes a great tomahawk disc, as it turns very slowly through the air. This slow turn leads to maximum distance. Overall good disc, would not recommend for a beginner though. (Posted on 3/21/11)

I can't seem to get this disc to do what I need it to do. I could throw my arm out trying to get this disc to come out of an anheuser and fly level, forehand and backhand alike, but it just turns over almost immediately. It's not just me, promise. I can get Innova's Boss to anheuser and level out with relative ease compared to this one. (Posted on 12/10/10)

my little brother has one of these they have very durable plastic he hits alot of trees and it still looks brand new but all in all its a very good driver its very predictable fade is what makes it such an amazing disc (Posted on 11/17/10)
