Details

The “SS” in Avenger SS is an abbreviation for “super straight”, and it is indeed a straight flyer.
The Avenger SS shares the top part of the mold with the Avenger, but the bottom wing is modified.
Rather than a concave scoop clearly visible on the original, the bottom wing of the SS version is filled in and flat across.
This provides a straight to understable flight right out of the box.
The SS is a touch slower than the original Avenger, but it has superior carry and glide.
It is a great disc to maximize limited armspeed, but it still must be thrown hard to flip up and fly straight.
The Z plastic is extremely durable virtually indestructible.

Reliable turnover driver. Gives you big distance without the big arm. And the Z plastic means it will fly the same, time and time again. (Posted on 9/27/12)

The Z Avenger SS is THE PERFECT ROLLER DISC. If you have any trouble with rolling, order one now and as soon as you take it out of the box, it's ready to roll. Also, this disc is a great beginner driver because of how straight it flies for people with less arm speed. This actually was my first Max-distance driver. This disc can also be used be bigger arms for long, fast turn-over drives. The amazing thing about the Z Avenger SS is how versatile it is. Once you try this disc you will find plenty of reason to use it. (Posted on 8/1/12)

Easily turns over, and with the right elevation will finish just a tad left way down the fairway. A go to disc for any player. (Posted on 7/7/12)

The Avenger SS is a great backhand disc that you can get to fly straight. The Elite Z plastic has the same feel and durability as Innova's champion discs. (Posted on 6/26/12)

Absolutely dig this disc! I used it when I started and now after a few years of play, it is still my go to disc. Hard to put on the back burner. (Posted on 5/25/12)

This disc is great for the beginner who wants to try out a driver. Very understable, even when I through with some hyzer it still tends to turn over. My main use for it is as a roller disc. Release it with just a bit of anhyzer and she'll flip up, hit the ground and take off rolling. Excellent roller/beginner driver. (Posted on 4/20/12)

Solid. Straight flyer, smooth glider. I've taken this out every time over the past year and the Z plastic has not one blemish on it. Essential for the serious beginning player. (Posted on 7/27/11)

I liken this to the younger brother of the original avenger. Less stable, so easier to throw backhand. Great for backhand rollers as well. This was the first disc I was able to backhand over 300 feet consistently. Recommended for any lower powered players looking for a consistent driver. (Posted on 3/21/11)

The Avenger SS is another great longer distance driver that would be one of the earlier ones that is manageable by newer players. It's fast, flies straight, and finishes with a slight bit of fade. I think it's a great disc in Elite Z plastic as it is extremely durable. I think the Elite Z plastic is even more heavy duty than Innova Champion. I also have one of these in the CryZtal Z plastic. It's a bit more gummy and flexible and seems to fly even farther, so if you can get one of those I'd go for it, but the Elite Z is excellent as well. (Posted on 11/3/10)

This is a great beginner disc. it has such a low stability rating that it will go where you want it to just about everytime. (Posted on 8/11/10)
