Details

The Stratus starts out as a very straight control disc, excellent for beginners, amateurs and finesse players who`d like the disc to do the work as opposed to having to push it.
This disc willingly does what you ask it to. As it breaks in it becomes a very dependable turnover disc and roller.
When you`re first starting out, and everything`s hookin` off on the hyzer hork, this may be the straightest disc in your bag.
X-plastic makes this the fastest and most durable version of this disc.
Wide variety of colors.
164-176 grams.

Great broken in roller Review by mark

I found one of these in the woods by a local course, and boy was it a good find. couldn't throw it straight anymore, but quickly became my favorite roller. Never tried a new one, but broken in they are sweet. (Posted on 1/15/14)

Great control mid. Starts out very straight and breaks in to become a smooth turnover disc. More forgiving to OAT than the comet, but still flies similar. (Posted on 10/3/12)

This is currently my favorite 200' or less disc. Flies where I put...I have used it multiple times to birdie on holes where I missed the mark 30 or 40' out. I think it would be a fine beginners disc for all purposes. (Posted on 6/26/12)

This disc is great for rollers or for new players who cannot keep their disc from hyzering. It was my go to for rolling until I started using the Avenger SS and XL. Would recommend this for any newer players. (Posted on 4/30/12)

Amazing turnover disc and flip hyzers, and once it gets beat it makes for a great roller! (Posted on 2/3/12)

The elite X stratus flies about 20' further than my Pro-D Stratus out of the box. Keeps a nice straight line if thrown at a medium speed RHFH. Love it! (Posted on 4/17/11)

Good disc. Easy to throw and very reliable. Great accuracy but not the best distance. A good disc for beginners. (Posted on 3/23/11)

Any players who struggle with a controlled sidearm look no further! This disc is very understable. Thrown with any power backhand it will slowly turn right (RHBH) after about 50 feet of straight flight. Great disc to get around obstacles. Highly suggest putting a stratus in your bag for those tight wooded courses! (Posted on 3/21/11)

I've tried the standard understable mid-range drivers (the Stingray, the new Wolf, the Ontario Roc, the Element), and this disc is as good or better than these others. It's pretty flat, but it's not hard to grip and it definitely turns over on straight shots and will level out with a little bit of hyzer, eventually S-curving out at the end of a lot of its flights. Go ahead and give one a try! (Posted on 3/2/08)
