MVP Disc Sports is an upcoming disc golf company that is delivering new, innovative golf discs with their new GYRO™ Technology.

Manufactured by Maple Valley Plastics in the USA!  This is a two piece design with a softer leading edge and a durable polyeurathane center.

Medium Flexibility.  Very durable.

Two different plastics are combined to make this putter glide and absorb shock from the chains and basket.

It is called the Ion and the disc manufacture is Cam Realty. It is a small diameter putter with a leading edge  overmold of harder rubber. This allows two different plastics to be used for the flight plate and the nose. This allows us to make whatever stiffness you want for the flight plate and still have softer plastic on the leading edge to catch the chains. It has a very small bead and the underside of the rim has a small roundover like the retooled elements.

I really like this disc won it last weekend, I never thought i would get attached to MVP discs but this can approach and do anything you put on it also its a reliable long range putter (Posted on 10/7/12)

Some people love 'em while others just like 'em. The slick, hard plastic on the Medium Ions makes this thing tough to get consistent releases with in my opinion. My first recommendation would be to get a Soft one. I don't putt with the one I have because of the plastic, so mostly have experience with drives and approaches for these. Good for overstable approaches inside of 200 feet. When driving with these I seem to get a pretty stable flight out of them (as long as there is no OAT in my throw). If released with less than stellar form they seem to get squirrelly. I have less than stellar form occasionally so I don't really trust myself with this disc on drives. Reminds me of a Challenger or Wizard in shape and somewhat in the way they fly. (Posted on 6/29/12)
