RIM ON WING GLOWS IN THE DARK!!!

Manufactured by MVP Disc Sports in the USA!  This is a two piece design with a softer leading edge and a durable polyeurathane center.

Soft and Flexibile. Very durable.  Two different plastics are combined to make this putter glide and absorb shock from the chains and basket.

The Ion is an awesome reliable, overstable putter with good glide and speed out of the hand.  Putts well in any conditions but is especially effective with head or cross winds due to the low-friction Proton Plastic employed in the core top plate.  The Ion is also an exceptionally consistent short range driver that may even surprise you at how far it will throw ith very little effort.  Even more remarkable is the fact that it will fly dead straight and never waver from the line on a low line drive, no matter how bad you throw it.  This can be a real birdie banger on those frustrating short holes that you should nail every time but never even seem to get half the time.  You KNOW the Ones!

TREE MAGNET-
The MVP Ion is a small diameter putter with a leading edge overmold of harder rubber. This allows two different plastics to be used for the flight plate and the nose. This allows us to make whatever stiffness you want for the flight plate and still have softer plastic on the leading edge to catch the chains. It has a very small bead and the underside of the rim has a small roundover like the retooled elements.

Glows in the dark around the rim, the middle is clear colored plastic that is perfect for a light to shine through from the underside.

More from MVP Disc Sports -

We also produce our discs with a glow-in-the-dark outer ring for those who play night golf.  The benefit of the design used in our GYRO™ Technology is that we can heavily concentrate the brightest glow phosphors in the overmold, thereby making them the brightest and longest lasting glow discs.  In addition to this benefit is that all of our glow discs still have a color choice in the central core, which is not an option offered on conventional glow golf discs.  Our Eclipse™ Glow products are available in the same durable, vivid Proton plastic encompassed by a bright white outer ring that glows in the dark.

Some people love 'em while others just like 'em. The slick, hard plastic on the Medium Ions makes this thing tough to get consistent releases with in my opinion. My first recommendation would be to get a Soft one. I don't putt with the one I have because of the plastic, so mostly have experience with drives and approaches for these. Good for overstable approaches inside of 200 feet. When driving with these I seem to get a pretty stable flight out of them (as long as there is no OAT in my throw). If released with less than stellar form they seem to get squirrelly. I have less than stellar form occasionally so I don't really trust myself with this disc on drives. Reminds me of a Challenger or Wizard in shape and somewhat in the way they fly. (Posted on 6/29/12)
