Details

The Wolf was designed to fill the demand for a disc that flew like a beat Roc right out of the box. For this, it works well, but not for the power players that were asking for a turnover Roc. The disc is a great flippy midrange for the slower arm speeds of beginners and amateurs, women and children and senior citizens, and players with a total finesse game. For these players the Wolf will start out as a straight flier right out of the box and quickly become a turnover disc as it gets broken in. For stronger players, the wolf will turn right out of the box but quickly become very understable once it whacks a few trees pretty hard.

Available in a wide variety of colors. 150-180 grams.

Good disc especially for beginners. Review by David

Pretty good disc not my favorite, but it was my first. it has a pretty good flightline, it's just not my best disc. (Posted on 1/15/14)

Understable and no glide? That's the wolf. Also feels awkward in hand. May be useful for beginners, but after that the scope is rather limited. (Posted on 9/28/12)

A very good beginners mid-range. Very understable and cannot handle the force of more advanced players drives. It is very good to learn with, the rim is very easy to grip. I would suggest this for players learning to approach and for players trying to learn about understability.Review:Fantastic for players who are looking for an understable discGreat for beginnersAwesome dye on the disc (Posted on 9/24/11)

Adv Amature 15 yrs ExpDX Wolf 180gHands down my favorite disc in the bag! 300ft tight woods shots, long narrow anhyzers, straight, floating hyzers, portable coffee cup holder... :-) Love it!I carry 4 Wolf's, from beat, to used, to new. You need one of these in your bag! Most under-rated disc in Innova line. (Posted on 6/26/11)

This was a great beginner disc, but after a few years I've realized it's no that great of a disc. Tends to hit trees and bounce off hard, only to turn on its edge and roll the wrong way.If you're new to the sport give it a try. $7 for a disc is still a steal (Posted on 4/17/11)

Good disc. Easy to throw and very reliable. Great accuracy but not the best distance. A good disc for beginners. (Posted on 3/23/11)

What the roc is to an overstable midrange the wolf is to and understable midrange. Highly recommend this disc for short anhyzers. The thumbtrac feels great as well. (Posted on 3/22/11)

This is one of Innova's worst discs. It feels awkward. Flies straight but...not far at all. I've used this disc once but have never met anyone who actually carries it around for a serious 18 holes. (Posted on 1/20/11)

Beginner disc, end of story. I mean, you can throw all of the innova discs and this would not be a memorable disc that you've thrown. Cheap. Straight, then swings left. Predictable. It's kind of one dimensional from a throwing sense. (Posted on 8/30/10)

A great beginner disc...predictable fade and easy to control. This was the first disc I ever threw and later switched to using a Star Stingray and Discraft Buzzz. Affordable and easy to throw :) (Posted on 8/14/10)

This would probably be my favorite mid-range i have ever used. If you are starting out playing this would be on of the best discs you can buy. (Posted on 8/3/10)

The DX wolf is my favorite disc ever. You could play the whole course with this disc alone. Flys straight for 90% of the flight and then fades right (right handed, back-hand throw) for the rest. Such a great disc that I have two (Posted on 7/1/08)
