Details

The Viper is a super overstable wind fighter that revolutionized the sport back in 1991. It`s a large diameter disc legal to 180 grams that has built itself a reputation over the years as the most predictable disc into the wind ever made. Works great when thrown low and will produce incredible skip shots.

Currently only in production in DX plastic. Premium versions and old DX original runs are still sought after on the collector market. In fact, the Viper was one of the first discs to jump start the collector market in the 90`s with Protos selling for over $300 and Metal Head 1st runs selling for over $200.

Many colors available. 150-180 grams.

One of my favorite overstable discs. Combines uber stability with good glide to make a disc that will actually get big distance. Good on low lines for big skips. If beat in enough, it can be thrown on enormous flex shots for a disc of its speed. (Posted on 9/27/12)

Great overstable mid-range usage. Used as a thumber, great for accurate placement. Little skip makes this disc great. Also a very, very good sidearm disc in tight shots. (Posted on 7/8/12)

Not a bad disc at all. You can put a little bit of S on this disc to get a little more distance, and you'll need it for the longer shots because it has a pretty nasty fade. (Posted on 5/8/12)

Very overstable disc, yet controllable. These two aspects combine to make one great sidearm disc! I use mine as more of a midrange hyzer/headwind midrange disc. Works great for me. Plastic wears quickly though. (Posted on 3/22/11)

Pretty good driver. Like it for backhand drives the are that short to medium distance. Throws well in windy conditions. So if your course that you play at gets a lot of wind you should try these disc. Might work really well for you. (Posted on 10/24/10)

The DX Viper was one of the first discs I used when I started getting myself seriously back into the game last year. It's good as a fairway driver, as well as being a good wind fighter on top of it. If they made this in the Champion plastic I think it would be a worthy addition, but it's still a useful tool for golfers. (Posted on 5/24/08)
