The sister disc to the Roc, the DX version is designed to be a little less stable and a little slower than the Roc.
It`s easy to control and will travel about 80% the distance of a Roc.
Once beat in, it makes a great turnover disc if given enough ceiling.
Optimal range 240-330 feet.
Many colors available.
130-180 grams.

My favorite mid of all time. Straight with a bit of fade to begin, after a couple of dings beats into a laser straight and then turnover mid. (Posted on 9/27/12)

First disc I bought very pleased when I used it flies straighter than a roc best begginer disc in light weight (Posted on 8/16/12)

Not sure about all of the bad reviews but I didn't mind this disc at all. It help up well against many hard tree attacks and usually went where I wanted it to go for the mid/short range shots. This one even survived a being eaten by a pond filled with turtles. (Posted on 6/15/12)

Although I don't use this disk very much, it is nice to still throw from time to time. It is a very beginner friendly mid-range disk that flies rather straight. (Posted on 3/28/12)

I find that the shark is a good disc even when it gets beat in. Similar to a roc. (Posted on 1/19/12)

I find that this disc flies like a beat up roc right out of the box, this was also the first disc I ever owned, and I belive it is a very beginner friendly disc. (Posted on 1/18/12)

Just get a roc, this disc is pretty much worthless. Cheap plastic and not as reliable as a roc, or as straight as a coyote. (Posted on 3/22/11)

this is the worst disc ever, its cheap, it breaks, no accuracy, not for anybody. if your gonna get it, get it in a heavy weight (Posted on 3/7/11)

Many people will fault this disc as cheap or for beginners. I would tend to agree, but have found a good use for it. The large width, sturdy plastic, and smooth top make it great for throwing scoobies or low altitude tomahawks. It will slide upside down over leaves and grass will relative ease. (Posted on 1/22/11)

Not a terrible disc. But there are many better options available for the same price. Since it's such a low speed disc, it tends to turn over pretty easily if you want a longer midrange shot out of it. Hooks hard left at the end though, so it's hard to get just the right throw. (Posted on 1/20/11)

I found a dx shark but didn't keep it long. It's not that I didn't want to keep it, but I threw it around a bush on an anhyzer line and heard it land but didn't see it. Because I had found it just the day before I didn't really look all that long for it. So my review for the shark is this, lots of glide and holds a nice anhyzer line. (Posted on 12/8/10)

Was my first, every mid-shot disc. The Star Stingray as since taken its place. I do enjoy throwing tomahawk throws with it as it flattens out quite nicely (Posted on 8/30/10)

This is one of my favorite mid-range discs that i use. It is a very consistent disc and i know that it will always finish to the left a little bit. (Posted on 8/13/10)

this disc is my second favorite mid-range disc, behind the buzzz, and i must say this disc will go nice and straight even if you throw it weird. this was my first midrange disc and is still in my bag. i use it for situations that will not forgive a bad throw because it will straighten up. my dad has played a couple times and he loves this disc, he'll end up using this as his driver and midrange. i own two of them, one beaten in for straight paths and one brand new for when i need some hyzer. i would recommend this disc for beginners looking for more accuracy or experienced players in woody or watery situations because they are easy for getting out of stuff and the dx plastic price makes you not feel as bad about losing them. Good mid range hyzer disc. Strong arm players will be able to get this disc to fly with a smaller hyzer at the end than if one had a weak arm. (Posted on 8/11/08)
