Details

The Leopard has been endorsed by former World Champion Barry Schultz. It`s a great finesse driver that`s versatile enough to deliver pinpoint accurate drives to a full spectrum of players from beginners to World Champions. For newbies it makes a great control driver that will give good distance with a minimal amount of fade at the end. For top-level pros and most players in between this makes a great utility disc to depend on when keeping the disc straight and on the fairway is essential. The DX version is stiffer and grippy and will break in quickly to become a sweet turnover driver. Optimal distance range 290-350 feet.

Full spectrum of colors available. 145-175 grams.

DX leopard Review by Nathan

My leopard is my go to disc after a bad drive. Whatever line I throw it on it follows the whole way to the hole. Its been beat up with the trees I've hit but they've only made it fly straighter. Because of its thinner rim it is tougher to get a power grip on it and really throw it down the course. But it can make a great roller if you throw it right. (Posted on 4/7/14)

the lepord was one of my very first disc i got. its a good disc for a beginner backhand and throws well at medium power sidearm. the dx plastic is fine as long as your not constantly hitting trees at a close distance (Posted on 1/15/14)

I personally think the Leopard is an understable brother of the teebird. If you throw it flat it will tend to ride for a while and turn barely finishing to the left. A hard anhyzer can turn it in to a looping roller that will circle back to the left pretty hard. I have never played a round without one in the bag (Posted on 1/15/14)

I recently started playing disc golf and this was my first driver (fairway driver). I highly recommend the dx leopard for anyone just starting out. (Posted on 1/21/13)

A very good fairway driver for beginers. The fade usually depends on how heavy the model is.It takes some getting used to, but once you have mastered it, it is a great disc. A beginer must-have. (Posted on 11/23/12)

THE essential beginner driver. Even straighter than its champion counterpart, it is incredibly easily to throw far because of its slight understability and great glide. Can become a reliable roller once beat in. (Posted on 9/23/12)

Started out good, but quickly lost its stability and thus usefulness for driving except for short turnovers or middle distance rollers. Way domier than a Champion version I own. I've seen one used beautifully for touch approach shots (I would generally use midranges at the distance I observed a friend using his Leopard). Unless you throw with less power or play infrequently, go ahead and purchase a Champion or Star. (Posted on 8/27/12)

Innova states that this should be everyone's first fairway driver. Based on that advise I got my first Leopard, then my second. Speaking as someone that is new to the sport, take Innova's advise. This is a great disc. It isn't fast, but it goes where you want it, and has lots of glide. (Posted on 6/14/12)

I lost this disc in the woods today. It was a faithful disc but when I replace it, I will get a heavier one. It flew relatively far and straight except at a low weight is very understable of course and would end up going anhyzer for me constantly haha. (Posted on 5/17/12)

very straight disc but not very durable. I use it for short range shots to place right next to the hole (Posted on 5/1/12)

Hard to get good distance with. It only works for backhanding and doesn't glide enough. I only recommend it for short courses. (Posted on 1/23/11)

People might label this as a beginner disc, but it's good for all levels of competition. This was my first disc, and it'll always be in my bag. Unlike the Cheetah, the Leopard will roll in a straight line. The DX plastic is somewhat of a gamble, since it's chewed up so easily, but what a great disc for beginners and pros alike. This is one of the better Dx plastic discs. I carry two max weight 175 in the bag. Good for medium drives that I want to put a S flight pattern on it. Good for some longer upshots too. Good disc for someone just starting to buy first. (Posted on 9/29/10)

This was one of the first discs i ever had and i loved it. it was the straightest flyer that i had. it would hold any line that you would put it on. I had this disc for 2 years before i lost it and i could have cried the day that i did (Posted on 8/4/10)

this was my first driver i ever had. it was great for me then... but then again i didnt know how to throw back then either. i didn't get the distance i had wanted out of it though. now i know how to throw and when i throw this disc it flips over no matter what and it flips hard. it could be just that its beaten in a little. but i wouldnt recommend this disc because of the short distance it gives me and that it flips over. if you're looking for a beginner driver try a roadrunner its understable and is very versatile. instead of trying this disc for the distance that it gets try a buzzz. Most discs that say they'll "Hold any line" are very circumstantial. Not the leopard. If you throw it anhyzer, it'll anhyzer. Throw it straight, and it stays straight. Now, once it gets beat in (And I mean VERY beat in) it gets touchy - the slightest change in your throw will drastically affect flight - but it takes a very long time to get it to that point, several years of heavy abuse.
