The DX Beast is made with the stable mold, which gives it stability similar to a TeeBird, though it`s quite a bit faster.
The DX Beast in a stiff, grippy plastic starts off with a slow controlled hyzer throughout it`s flight.
It`s very fast and has good glide, making it great for long hyzer shots.
Less durable DX plastic will allow this model to break-in faster, giving it more glide and straightening the flight path out some, increasing the distance.
As it breaks in more it becomes a long flying anhyzer and eventually, a reliable turnover disc.
The Beast is a predecessor to the Orc and is still highly regarded for being somewhat more predictable than the Orc with just a slight loss of distance.
The glow model is Rigid & Stiff, some of the nicest DX plastic available.

I had a 165 and the plastic is shiny and tackier than regular dx with some give in the flightplate. This thing glows bright and lights up fast, lasts pretty long, less than gateway though. (Posted on 4/20/12)
