Long Range Drivers

Details

By most accounts, the Eagle is the disc that started the revolution in technology that produced faster discs with dependable stability, but not so overstable that only the strongest arms can throw them. It was and still remains a fast consistent long range driver that is easy to keep on the fairway.

The Eagle was one of the first high tech discs ever produced, laying the groundwork for discs like the TeeBird and the Valkyrie. It`s now one of the best utility drivers available, combining the control of a fairway driver with the speed of a long range disc.

The most recent runs feature a smooth "L" bottom like that of a "TL" making it slightly faster and less stable. Medium stability gives it a wide range of abilities from gradual hyzers to easy straight shots and booming anhyzers.

Available in a wide range of colors. 150-175 grams.

Good disc especially for beginners. Review by David

I bought this disc, and I really liked it. I couldn't get the distance I wanted out of it, though. My sister uses it now, and she likes it, too. Definitely worth getting. (Posted on 1/15/14)

Great disc for a variety of players. Fast with good glide. Fairly straight for lower power throwers, smooth bit of turn for faster throwers. Beats in nicely to become a reliable turnover driver. (Posted on 9/28/12)

This is one of my longest drivers. I've had some of my best distances with this disc as it slowly anhyzers then gently hyzers back to the middle. I'm wondering how long the DX plastic will let it stay one of my favorite discs. (Posted on 3/27/11)

This disc is my go-to fairway driver for medium-long distances. It's fairly hard to turn over without using brute strength. Stays straight for the majority of it's cycle. It also breaks in very quickly! (Posted on 3/27/11)

This is a great disc but only for a limited time. (Not a sales pitch.) Breaks in quickly to a straight flyer, and is extremely predictable and good for the longer shots. Pretty good with S-turns too in my experience. Good while it lasts. (Posted on 12/8/10)
