Details

The Aviar Putter putt and approach disc in DX plastic is by far our best-selling putter.

It`s one of the straightest putting discs on the market that breaks-in quickly to become a long distance turnover putter.

This disc works great for straight to turnover upshots or short drives up to 200 ft.

This is a good downwind disc but don`t expect it to hyzer into the wind.

This disc requires some height in order to get distance. It struggles some with low ceiling shots.

Each run has its own feel, from fairly soft to fairly stiff.

You can always specify the feel you`re looking for in the comment box at checkout.

This disc comes in a very wide variety of colors and weights so be as choosy as you like with this one.

For low ceiling upshots and short drives we recommend the Innova XD.

Great disc! Review by David

This is my go to putter. I love the way this disc flys. I have made some of my longest putts with this disc. I totally recommend it. (Posted on 1/15/14)

I am new to disc golf but I can honestly say that I don't regret buying this as my first putter. I have since bought four more for practice in the backyard. I can see how it is rated Innova's top putter. (Posted on 1/20/13)

My first putter (when I was 10) was a 147 DX Aviar. I loved it for any kind of putt. I now throw max weight DX Aviars for all my straight putts and I have a lighter one that I use for Anhyzers. (Posted on 12/25/12)

This is the putter that I grew up on. consistently straight putter inside the circle. Great approach disc too, and also for short straight to turnover drives. DX is by far the best plastic for the Aviar pnA. (Posted on 9/12/12)

I have had/thrown a lot of different putters, but this is by far my favorite and is what I carry every time. You can get good accurate distance with this putter. Must have. (Posted on 5/19/12)

This putter does exactly what I need it to. I love it in the DX plastic because even when it is wet, making putts isn't a problem. Anyone who is a straight putter should use one of these. I have noticed that it doesn't work quite as well for hyzer or anyhyzer putting, but that could be because I got it in maz weight and it drops fast. (Posted on 5/17/12)

Slightly soft plastic usually waxy. The only putter you need. Perfect disc for anybody. (Posted on 4/30/12)

I really like this putter. It flies nice and straight with a slight little tail at the very end. One thing that took a little getting used to was the fact that it drops like a rock. It'll be flying real nice, then out of nowhere just pounds into the ground. I learned the hard way though, that if it ends up on edge and starts to roll, it'll roll pretty good. (Posted on 3/28/12)

This is a great medium-to-long approach disc. In the 167-170 gram weights, it holds a straight line with fairly decent float (Posted on 3/27/11)

Great disc for short putts. Floats straight into the chans with no hyzer. As an approach disc, I use it to anhyzer around obstacles because this disc is understable. Great disc to buy a stack up to practice putting. (Posted on 3/22/11)

First putter I ever threw, but I switched to the KC because of the bead it has. This disc is such a staple and belongs in everybody's bag. Currently, I use it for short arm shots that need to go straight with very little power and for anhyzer shots. This disc when beat in will hold that line until the end of the world. I've never had problems with this disc except that I wouldn't throw it around trees. It beats in nicely! (Posted on 3/21/11)

I love this disc as an approacher. It floats up nicely before landing softly with minimum skips. It turns over easily though when broken in, so make sure you throw it softly. I would recommend this to new players and veterans. (Posted on 1/20/11)

The DX Aviar putter is flawless if you like a putter that floats forever and is under stable. Great for the old step putt!! (Posted on 10/24/10)

The Dx Aviar is the best putter out there for me. The only other putter I throw is a Champion Aviar. All of my putters are 175 max weight. I carry four of these in my bag. Great for putting and driving on short holes. I recomend this disc for any player. (Posted on 9/29/10)

this was my first putter ever and is still in my bag. i bought a star aviar putter though and that has replaced this one for most putt and approach shots. i find this one a little more stable but doesn't go as far as the star one. i recommend this for beginners who want to try this disc before spending the money on more expensive plastics or other putters to see if they like it as much as i do.
