The Tempest is a high arm speed ultra distance driver for super arm speed players that impart moderate spin. For advanced and professional players this disc is slightly understable during high speed flight and stable during low speed flight. Typically, the Tempest is used in long bomb open shots needing a straight path, long distance wooded shots, and long fairway drives for distance in cross winds. In the hands of a player with a lower typical arm speed the disc can be used for hyzer doglegs and skip shots. This disc is built with a generally conventional nearly vertical grip maximized for finger purchase to transfer the most energy possible.

The Tempest is designed with as wide a rim as is currently allowed under the PDGA specifications at a minimum diameter. This design reduces drag to keep the disc at high speeds longer and provides less surface area available for wind to take hold of and affect the disc's flight. We've pushed the limits as far as the PDGA will allow so that you can reap the benefits!!!

The Tempest is offered in our new Cu plastic. This plastic wears and is priced comparable to other manufacturers mid-grade plastics, but has a smooth surface to provide the same high end plastics' flight path and feel. In this way you get the best of both worlds, reduced drag from the smoother plastic and the ability to customize the wear on a disc into your perfect combination at an affordable price.
