Details

Very OverStable midrange produced by Discraft for DGA, this disc was originally released as the Discraft Torque.  This is one of the most overstable midrange discs on the market, great for into the wind hyzer drives and consistent long approaches into the wind.

I won this disc at a tournament. Its a 173 to 174. I have had troubles throwing it. It seems for me at least that it breaks really hard for me throwing backhanded. Think when I figure it out it could be a good disc. (Posted on 10/20/10)

When you live on the Monterey Bay you learn to play the wind in a big way. There is not a single midrange I would go for in a Monterey head wind that is the Shock Wave. Good and overstable, it will handle a ton of snap with no wind, but for the windy finesse shots it will be your go to disc. Predictable paths and easy handling is the name of it's game and when you need that 200' straight shot with hard fade and a wicked skip at 205' then you need to look no further. (Posted on 8/26/10)
