is the quest turbo putt allowed in pdga sanctioned tourneys?

We meant to do that Jason they are not extra charge we have a bunch left in stock and thats what we had that matched your order it just happened to be first run... SURPRISE!! lol =P

i ordered two esp wasps last week and when they arrived one was a 1st run. this surprised me, because I wasn´t charged extra. did y´all mean to do this?

ABC Plastic is similar to Champion or Elite Z, but the Putters are more like DX or Pro-D plastic. Test Flights Soon!!!

2 questions. 1) What type of plastic(s?) are the ABC discs comparable to. and 2) How do they perform?

Are the ABC Disc prices being posted? Want to try out the gamma ray, mission, and money putter.

So, for those who`ve never tried a 1st run disc, when they finally do it is likely to be a surprise how sweet it flies. For those who have thrown them it is hard to find anything to compare it to. That`s why they are so sought after. Not to say that the other runs aren`t great - I throw them myself - just that the 1st runs are usually the best. Sort of like comparing a tasty New York Strip to a Filet Mignon - one is delicious, but the other is heavenly

Over time, as they run 1,000s of discs through the mold, the mold begins to slowly wear out - basically, the molecules are being stripped away, so each subsequent run actually gets ever so slightly fatter. This makes the disc slower with slightly different flight characteristics.

1st run discs, especially highly regarded models, get reall expensive over time because many times they are the best high-production run of the disc. This is when the new mold is closest to its "virgin" state.

Great question Cody! If you notice, almost all 1st runs are more expensive as time goes by, and the reason is technical in nature.

joe, why are the 1st run star destroyers going for so much? are they better than the regular run star destroyers? thanks, bro!

JustinJ - it is impossible to make the Boss or Destroyer any lighter than about 165 grams due to the size of the wing - the wing is so big that it doesn`t leave enough plastic left over to make it across the top-plate of the disc. So the top-plate ends up lumpy or concave or maybe even holes in it. The only plastics that will come out of the mold clean are DX and R-Pro.
