Details

The original C.E. Valkyrie reincarnated in Champion plastic is famous for easily controlled distance shots at a variety of angles of release.

Throw it with some hyzer and she`ll finish with some hyzer. Throw it flat and she`ll finish flat.

Throw it with anhyzer and she`ll hold it for a while and fight its way back to straight at the end.

By far, it`s most effective at gliding super straight down the fairway with a slight hyzer at the end - not really enough to effect anything.

Great for players with average to above average snap in the heavy weights, while working the same way in the lower weights for players with lower snap and slower arm speed.

This another Editor`s Top Pick in the long range driver category.

Many players who use the Valkyrie find that they end up using it for a very high percentage of their drives.

Full range of colors available.

150-175 grams.

One of the most controllable drivers ever produced!

Very versatile long range driver. Can cover most shots from long turnovers to straight drives with slight fade. (Posted on 9/20/12)

Understable driver more stable than a roadrunner less than a teebird flies forward fast and straight (Posted on 8/16/12)

Quickly becoming my go to disc. It is a nice easy transition from some of the understable fairway drivers. Good disc to learn how to throw more stable discs, yet the Valkyrie still has low fade, so it is a gracious learning curve. Overall, I love throwing it. (Posted on 5/1/12)

Super versatile, a must when I'm playing a small bag or just carrying a few disc. Can deal with anything from drives to approach. I get great performance no matter how hard I throw this disc. Also great to loan to new players. (Posted on 3/29/12)

The Valkyrie is hands down my favorite disc. It's not over stable so it's nice for someone trying to learn a straight shot. (Posted on 1/19/12)

The Valkyrie is the disc I suggest everyone try at least once. When I first started play disc golf the Valkyrie was the disc that FINALLY allowed me to make a few nice shots. After more practice the Valkyrie is one of my most used disc in my bag. (Posted on 11/19/11)

An extremely common go-to driver! It seems as if every player has one of these. It is very useful as a slightly stable driver. If thrown with the right power it can S, Hyzer, or fly flat for days. I think of it as a less stable archon.Review:Great disc to learn S-Curves withCommon distance driverCan be ripped on a dead straight line. (Posted on 11/8/11)

One of the most versatile discs in the game, the valkyrie will give you sweeping s curves in lower weights and straight lasers in higher weights. Highly recommend the 150 class, that disc just goes forever. In this plastic this disc will never be damaged. (Posted on 3/22/11)

Great disc. Pretty good distance with a predictable fade. This disc exemplifies the rules of breaking in a disc, in that it's pretty overstable initially and finally flies straight. I have three of these discs, and they all fly a little differently due to how long I've had them. All predictable though. A like it but not a love it. (Posted on 12/8/10)

When I started discgolf, my first driver was Valkyrie:)I have had three Champion Valkyries. The domey Valkyrie is quite beaten up and I use it for long anhyzer shots. New Champ Valkyrie flies straight for about 80% on it`s flight and then fades just little bit. Very controllable driver. I strongly recommend to everybody. (Posted on 8/25/10)

My first premium plastic driver. It was also the first disc I lost. I used this as my long distance driver before I knew how to throw far because it just went. Awesome for backhand and forehand drives. This was a great first quality driver and a horrible first loss. Pick one up and keep it safe. (Posted on 5/27/10)

Awesome disc! It flies out of your hand. It takes a little getting used to, but it has provided me with my longest drives. It is also very accurate. (Posted on 7/21/08)

I carry 2 175g Champ Valks and one 175 CE Valk. in my bag. These are great disc (they do hold the world distance record at over 800ft.). Great for hyzer flips or big S-curve shots. I love it when some dumb punk makes fun of a valk saying it a chick disc and I crush one on a 400ft hole and land 15ft. from the pin and clearly have C.T.P. and there wraith didn't even break 300ft. This is a must have disc for any serious player. The old school CE Valks are more money but worth every cent. Get one and It will stay in you bag. As far a GDisc.com is concerned they are awesome I've been playing for about a two years and this is the hot spot. Joe, Wendy, Scott, and Little Joey and the rest of the staff are some of the coolest people you will ever meet. They have almost anything you can think of in stock. You got to check out there store in Clearwater Florida. (Posted on 8/13/07)
