A champ leopard in an appropriate weight is an ideal disc for a newer player to get working with. A long life dependable disc that can become a go-to for straight to low fade throws and even some rollers. (Posted on 1/22/13)

Fantastic control driver for the beginner and experienced player alike. Goes laser straight for lesser arms and straight to turnover for arms with more power. Great glide too. (Posted on 9/23/12)

The Leopard is a great fairway driver. I recommend this or a TL as a beginners for driver. It is very good, has more fade than the TL but is still extremely consistent. If released well it will fly completely flat. This disc really allows people to develop good technique. Also, if you are looking to get more distance and you are already throwing high speed disc coming back to this will show your technique flaws. If you can get this to fly smooth as butter, you are ready to move on. (Posted on 5/8/12)

Perfect first driver. Easy to throw, straight and fairly consistent. Only thing about this disc is that you will outgrow it in a hurry if you play alot. Great gift if you are getting your buddies into disc golf (Posted on 3/22/11)

This is a great disc. I got this from a friend who thought it was too beat up to use it anymore so I took it off his hands and my next drive, I hyper flipped it fifty feet past his drive, to about ten feet from the basket. It is my go to flip disc formstraight holes. I love it. (Posted on 1/20/11)

The leopard is definitely a decent disc. I used it for a couple years and the more power I developed the less I used it. Easy to turn over. Long glide. (Posted on 10/25/10)

The Leopard has been around for a long time, and there is no indication of it leaving anytime soon. A coveted roller disc, the Leopard is also favorable for both anhyzer drives and thumbers. If you can find a CE Leopard, then grab one, but if not, a Champion Leopard will do just fine. If you experiment with this disc, you will discover that you can throw shots in ways you may have never done before. Very useful! (Posted on 9/10/10)

I have 173 gr Champion Leopard. For me, it`s straight to understable fairway driver. Depends on the throwing speed. I think it`s quite good disc for beginners, because they find most of the discs too overstable. This disc is definately not overstable. (Posted on 8/25/10)

A durable version of an old favorite. Very straight in this plastic, even finishing to the left when new. Great for lower power players as a fairway driver or first driver and as a straight to turnover driver for higher power players. I use it on wooded holes where a very straight shot with no fade is wanted. My only complaint with this plastic is that it starts out a little too overstable than a leopard should be, but that changes quickly as it gets beat in. Once there, it holds that "sweet spot" practically for years it seems. I've been throwing this disc consistently since I started 10 years ago! (Posted on 5/23/10)
