Details

These Aviars are beadless and fairly stiff for Champion plastic.  They have a great medium feel that isn`t slick and not too stiff.  Champion plastic gives them more speed and a little more glide than the other version of this disc - excellent for longer putts and approach shots as well as drives.

Available in a great variety of colors and weights.

A good beginner disc that can be used for mid range shots (Posted on 1/15/14)

A few ticks more stable than the DX aviar pna. Mainly used it for driving, but not much favorite because the champ plastic was too slick for me. I recommend a KC aviar for driving aviars. (Posted on 9/12/12)

This disc will EVENTUALLY break in (if you can be bothered) to become a good driving putter. However, the Champion plastic is not well suited to putting inside 60ft in my opinion. Any hint of moisture and disc slippage becomes a problems, and if you hit the rim of the basket don't expect the disc to land close! (Posted on 1/17/12)

Great for shots off the tee, it can go super straight no matter how hard you throw it. Also really good for short "get out of troublt" flick shots. Really nice disc when it has a big bead on it. (Posted on 1/16/12)

Similar to all the other Aviars but I do not enjoy it in Champion plastic. I highly recommend getting the KC pro Aviar instead of this one. If you just love Champion disc however, this is a great disc fo ryou! (Posted on 11/8/11)

pretty good putter. drops off to the right a little bit at the end of your throw if you dont throw it hard enough but all around a safe choice for your putting game. (Posted on 2/19/11)

I am very pleased with the Champion Aviar. I like this one a little more than the DX but you can't go wrong either way. Great for upshots also. Terrific feel, but I am partial to the Champion plastic. To me they just work better. (Posted on 12/6/10)

Really nice upgrade from the DX Aviar. In my opinion if you like to throw your putter harder, I would personally go with the Champion Aviar over the DX Aviar because it seems to be more stable. Great disc! (Posted on 10/24/10)

This is the putter I use now. I throw this one and the dx version. I like the Champion one a little better then the Dx because I get more distance out of it using less power then using the dx. Aviar is just the putter to buy. (Posted on 10/20/10)

i don't like the feel of this disc compared to the KC, Star, or DX. It's stiff and slick and doesn't let you get a good feel for the angles and release. i just felt as if thy hands had to adjust to the disc and not the other way around. I love the Big bead in the KC and Star that gives your finger extra feel. I haven't thrown this as an approach, but just as a putter so i don't know how the stability compares on longer throws. Before you buy something like this, it would be best to go to a disc golf store and see how you like the feel. I'm telling you, try all the molds and get comfortable. In my opinion this is the least comfortable aviar. (Posted on 8/11/10)

It is an okay putter, but I would recommend getting it in dx or r pro. It just likes to bounce out and if it lands on it edge it is going to roll over and over again. (Posted on 10/19/09)
