Catch Discs

Throw and Catch - this is where most people`s love of the Frisbee begins.  And this is where we get the inspiration for playing disc golf.  Afterall, its only natural to, once you`ve experienced the joy of throwing and catching with a friend, test your skills against others by demonstrating your ability to throw far and accurate, and to make death-defying trick catches like an Olympic Athlete.

As a matter of fact, throwing into a basket is designed to mimic throwing a perfect shot that your partner can catch.  The "sweetspot" in a basket is about the same as hitting someone in the bread "basket".  Coincidently they are both called a basket.

So if you want to practice throwing at a basket, get out and play catch with a friend.  It is essentially the same thing.  Don`t be afraid to play catch with golf discs either.  Just be careful when you are trying to catch them.
