Details

The Star Wraith is the original Wraith mold, for now, with a smooth bottom on the wing and phenomenal speed that few other drivers can touch, to date. The "L" mold is a little less stable than the "X" mold currently found in the Champion and DX. The grippy, low-profile, low-friction Star plastic begs to be ripped into and will come screaming out of your hand like a caged bird. It flies so far, it`s hard to hold it back, and you may find yourself over driving some holes you used to have trouble reaching. It starts out with a slow controlled hyzer throughout it`s flight, so you`ll want to lay it outside of your target slightly and let it slowly drift toward it. It will hyzer or anhyzer readily if given the appropriate angle, but it`s real strength is in the long distance precision drives that almost become second-nature with this disc.

Star Wraith is available in a wide variety of colors. 165-175 grams.

I have a 170 Pro and a 161 KC Star. I throw RHFH. I am amazed at how these just continue to glide and go, probably an honest 25-30 extra feet to the other drivers I have. (Krait, Snap Disc 'Helios', Valkyrie. The flight path is for me stable, predictable, not much lateral movement or effect. On the few RHBH Hyzer dogleg left holes I have used it as a Driver, it performs just fine as well with my weak RHBH ablilty. The 170 bucks the wind pretty well out here in the Prairies. One of the best distance drivers Review by Christopher

The wraith in star plastic is one of the most trusted distance drivers out there. This thing will glide forever after you beat it in a little bit, and then will stay right at the sweet spot for big distance for a very long time. I love this disc for big distance backhand and forehand on big s turns. (Posted on 1/15/14)

Does Ken Climo put his name on anything that isn't the best? Of course not, and this disc is no exception. Perfect! (Posted on 1/15/14)

This mold starts out rather overstable, but just throw it into a couple trees and it will start flying straight and reliable. (Posted on 9/28/12)

This is my maximum distance disc. Plastic is grippy and rim is comfortable. Great for ripping into enormous S curve shots. It starts out pretty darn stable, but beat it in enough and it turns to straight money. (Posted on 9/19/12)

If the Star Destroyer is too much disc for you, get a Wraith! This disc is a great FH or BH disc with enough fade that you won't overpower it, but not so much that it meathooks every drive that you throw. This is a great first high speed driver for a newer player.Review:Great FH or BHHas a high speed and gentle fadeGreat first fast driver (Posted on 9/24/11)

i use this for my primary driver and am fairly satisfied with it. Depending on the angle of release and arm speed this disc can "go"! I have to use a 175 so it doesnt flip (as much) I also have a 163 that flips bigtime when some torque is applied. overall a good fast utility driver for long bombs with some control. Depending on the speed thrown it can hold any line you throw it on, works well for long anhyzers as well as long hyzers. Good all around distance driver. (Posted on 6/3/11)

This disc is FAST. Probably one of the fastest discs ever made. I use mine for side arm shots because I do not have the power to throw it backhand. It does bomb as a forehand driver tho! drives of almost 400 feet are not uncommon with this disc. (Posted on 3/21/11)

i was lucky enough to find a star wraith at my local course and it has been my go-to driver ever since. Throw it low and it will be your bestfriend. A reliable driver that you only get better with as you break it in. (Posted on 2/18/11)

My friend Peter let me use this disc a couple days ago and I love this disc. I'm usually a Champion wraith guy, but I have been throwing more and more hyzer flip throws and needed the distance and comfort of a wraith that also turns a little more than the champion plastic would allow me. So thanks to Peter, this is the next disc I'm buying. (Posted on 1/8/11)

I love the Wraith. However, the Star plastic is not my first choice. It's a little too understable and can't take my harder throws. Champion is the way to go. (Posted on 12/27/10)

I like the wraith. The disc is fast and friendly. Throw it with a little anhyzer and watch it flex out for huge distance. Works great for all types of hyzer shots. When I can't reach it with my TeeBird I go for the Wraith. (Posted on 10/19/10)

My only ace disc (so far). The Star Wraith puts you at ease off the tee. You know that you can shoot a comfortable hyzer or rip a nice S-bomb whenever you desire. The Wraith is more versatile than the Destroyer (or any of the other Innova drivers), so I find myself utilizing much more in practical application. I would recommend that you experiment with this disc and see how your distance game improves. (Posted on 8/31/10)

This disc will fly straight pretty much as strong as you flick it. After that it will crash left, sometimes with a great bounce. Tons of Fun. (Posted on 8/30/10)

My go to driver. It has an amazing helix to it that you need to work with to find it's breaking point. This is an easy disc tp throw. I love it much better than the Surge which has always seemed a bit flippy. Seriously, take the time to learn the breaking point and this disc will reward you. You don't have to give it a lot to make it go. If you are one of those guys, you'll end up putting this disc in the funk, (Posted on 8/11/10)

The wraith was the first driver I really felt comfortable throwing. It is very predictable when thrown for distance or for slower shots when a lot of hyzer is required to get around a bush or tree. When it starts to break in it has great glide. In fact, throwing in an open field today, I threw about 60 feet further than ever before. It was also out performing my Destroyer both into a headwind and with tailwind. (Posted on 5/27/10)

What was the fastest disc before the destroyer came out. One of the most popular disc made. You need a big arm or at least great technique to make them fly right. If you have the skill then you need the disc. As far a GDisc.com is concerned they are awesome I've been playing for about a two years and this is the hot spot. Joe, Wendy, Scott, and Little Joey and the rest of the staff are some of the coolest people you will ever meet. They have almost anything you can think of in stock. You got to check out there store in Clearwater Florida. (Posted on 8/25/07)
